Zebra Jumping Spider
Hi i would just like to thank you all for your kind comments on the Kingfisher.
I have had lots of requests to post some of my high speed flash work so here we go.
Canon 5d mk2
100mm macro + 36mm tube
Infrared beam breaker
1 high speed flash duration 1/20000 sec
The whole of this setup was the size of a compact flash card

brilliant Dale, very well done. This must have taken some patience.

I've been interested in HSF images for some time so I've enjoyed looking around your website.

Cracking shot Dale!

I see from you're website (and the photo!) you're a Stephen Dalton fan. I assume you've got his spider book (if not, get it, probably the best spider photography I've seen), was lucky enough to meet him briefly a few years ago while he was working on it (I'm an arachnologist).

I applaud the effort and technical know-how that went into this shot!
