Gambel's Quail triple plume
I was out walking in the desert last week when I spotted this Gambel's Quail up in this Mesquite tree with 3 plumes. We have seen many quail with 2 plumes but this is a first time I have seen one with 3. I was wondering if others have seen any quails with 3 plumes or maybe this is something more common after all.
Thanks for any feedback, just curious on this one.
