Red Squirrel in habitat.
The nuts are out of site behind this upturned tree root, the camera is on a tripod and I'm in a hide using a remote trigger.
Canon 20D,28mm canon lens,1/60 f5.6 and iso400.

What a beauty Phil. I really like the colours, and the big trunk on the left balances the shot well for me. Cracking :toast:

Excellent habitat shot Phil, a well worked image too and the curve of the tail looks very nice.

Like the approach very much Phil, just get the impression this is slightly over-sharpened. :wavey:

Nice to see the bigger picture, well caught :toast:

The foliage in front of the squirrel looks to be a bit over sharpened .

Nice to see a Red Squirrel in its environment which is very picturesque. Works very well but agree about the over sharpening. :wavey:

Its always a pleasure to see red squirrel pictures , this one especially with the back ground something other than a blur , it shows the squirrel in its true environment , well done .

Bob.
