Hey folks, Nancy & I went on a short hike with some friends of ours today who showed us this nice waterfall up on Cougar Mountain. I had no idea this was up there at all.

So let me know what yall think of this one OK??

Hope you don't mind me saying this.... but I think the capture is really nice, and the stream is beautiful - but the many fallen trees, though they have been there so long, still create enough clutter to kind of bother me. On the other hand, it looks like a perfect study on the beauty of a stream coursing though a chaotic forest... if that makes sense...

Rick,
I was trying to formulate what to say when I read Ned's post. He put it perfectly, it's well done, and it's a good study, but I'm not feeling it as a photo...

Rick,
If your greens popped like Ned's in his last post, I would be all over this. The composition is good and the old fallen trees really don't bother me.

I like it and I don't think the compressed screen size does it justus. This is probably one of those falls that isn't around after things dry up in the summer.

Printed 13x19 this has LOTS to feed the eye upon. Some images just don't weather well the transition to postable JPEG...sigh

Thanks folks for the great input!! As always I GREATLY appreciate it!!
