It's a smashing portrait Maggie, super sharp with bags of detail and a lovely BG. I may have been tempted to crop the image slightly lower down to include more of the ducks breast.
Nicely done Maggie, and well processed!

Paul.

Lovely shot, perhaps a tad more canvas on the right but otherwise superb.

Superb portrait and BIF too. Excellent.
I've just bought a duck from S********s. It is going in the oven in a few minutes time. I place twisted hazel twigs (washed) in a roasting dish then place the duck on top. This allows the fat to drain from the duck leaving it lean and delicious as well as having an enhanced flavour from the Hazel. Oh yes, and I have remembered to take the giblets out of the plastic bag as well.

It works very well and the BG is just the right sort of tone to set her off splendidly
