Yakima has been a bit cold, and the orchardists are using water frost control. A great ppportunity for ice images. (It can get a bit wet though because the overheads and undeer tree sprinklers are operating at the best time for photos.)This photo was taken on the floor of a pluot (plum and apricot hybrid) orchard. It does not qualify as macro since the area is larger than 4 inches.

Jim, this is an interesting study of how frozen water can affect a scene. I like the abstract nature, it keeps me nicely engaged. This is so monochrome already, but I wonder how it would look in full B&W?
Pretty crazy abstract! I wouldn't know what on earth I was looking at without your description.

Very cool photo. I like the combination of all the different shapes formed by the ice. I like the small area of what appears to be brown leaves on the left, but they seem a bit crowded by the edge of the frame. I would love to see this as B/W as well.
