Jumpin' Jack Flash

Brown Hare (Lepus europaeus) – Essex.

Canon EOS 1Ds Mk2, 500/f4 + beanbag.
Manual exposure mode f6.3 ;1/800, iso 400.
RAW image processed in Capture One; sharpened in Photoshop CS4; full frame.

Everyone knows that a male hare is called a Jack and the female a Jill, right? This hare is actually a Jill, but let’s not let a mere technicality get in the way of a good story

Wonderful, strong action image, well done, a personal thing I guess but I find your choice of borders a little over-powering and distracting. :jump: :jump:

Fabulous shot Phil. The strong light has really brought out the detail in the fur. Caught it in a great position.
