Just back from a short trip to Belgium. Cold and windy but the beer was good and so was the food  Did some landscape photography. Hope to show some shots later this week. Saw this owl in a Taxus Baccata in a Churchyard near where I stayed.

Hi Paul

A little busy in there but importantly the head is in the clear - I like it!

Nice crisp eyes - the coulor really grabs you. Could have had a touch more sunlight on its face but otherwise a well executed shot.

Hi Paul

A nicely taken shot, I like the habitat of this shot and I agree with David that this shot works because the face is unobstructed and has good eye contact. Well spotted and well photographed. :toast:

cheers
