Nest Building:Resplendent Quetzals
During my recent trip to Costa Rica I captured a Resplendent Quetzal and posted it to the Gallery on the 3rd. During that shoot I witnessed what to me was a remarkable sight, I saw a breeding pair of Quetzals preparing their nest cavity for their eggs. In the next few images I'll attempt to post the sequence as I saw it. The first image is of the male climbing down into the tree cavity.

And the third is the female insuring the work was done correctly.
