Male Pheasant Displaying.
Pic. taken a few days ago not far from Aberdeen. Canon 1D MK2n 500 mm lens 1/320 sec. F 5.6 Iso 400 Full frame and I cloned out a couple of highlight spots on the young birch tree behind the bird. All comments welcomed.

Love the lighting and colours, and as Steve says the wing blur is the icing on the cake :toast:

Love it John. The angle of the bird really shows the force with which they display. Composition, setting, colours and wing movement all combine to make a great picture.

Very well captured but to me it looks a little over sharpened but everything else comes together nicely

Well caught John. Like the mossy covered stone wall and the BG colouring suits the bird just fine. :wavey:

Cracking. The wing blur is spot on and the effort conveyed is great. I like the inclusion of habitat too.

Cheers,
Chris
