The family made a quick trip up to the south shore of Lake Superior with a stop at Amnicon Falls State Park. This is one of the shots taken just below the covered bridge. Unfortunately it was a very sunny day so shooting was a little difficult. There are a few more shots from the day on my web site

I've never seen a shot like this before, nicely seen and executed.

Excellent shot from an artistic composition perspective. What time of day/night?

I really like this. Superb choice of shutter speed. Please give the setting info.
Thanks for the comments.
The photo was taken about 2pm on a sunny afternoon in partial shade.
I used my Nikon D70s Tamron 28-200 lens with a .9 ND filter and a circular polarizer Settings were ISO200 lens at 48mm F stop 29 speed .5 sec.
Looks like a pretty heavy flow, if I'm correct where you shot this. (the 'slide' into the pool, parking lot side)?
Excellent shutter and I really like the tenacious grip of the sapling. Can't wait, I'm heading up in a few weeks to open the family summer home.

Beautiful shot Philip, not your average everyday waterfall image but I like the creative approach you showed with this !!
