With the state capitol display completed I wanted to say thanks again for all of the excellent help from the many organizers. This seemed like a class act from start to finish including the display panels, photo ID cards, set up, take down, and communications. Not only was I very pleased to be able to display my photos, but was pround to have them among such a great looking group of other photos. It was nice to see other's photos in person after having seen puny little web posts. To my untrained eyes they were expertly printed and framed. So thanks! (Now back to my tax forms :frown: )

Yes, this group works exceptionally well together. :toast:
An extra special thanks to Dave and Tony. Without their panels and time, we could not even consider this opportunity.

I agree with all the above! Thanks so much to everyone involved in putting this. What a cool show! Think about it, how many people do you know that have had the opportunity to hang their artwork in their state capitol!?! Thanks again!!

Very Thanks for the opportunity to hang in such an impressive place next to such an impressive other bunch of photos.

Are we going to have access to the comments from the comment book?

Of course a huge thanks goes out to the Pelzmanns and Dave and Tony for their panels. But a Thanks is also in order to everyone to participated. It is because you openly share in the passion of Nature Phyotography that there is a great interest in what was done! I was happy to hear that there were sales made this year from the display which is very gratifying! I look forward to any display we get a chance to do as a group and look forward to growing participation of even newwer members! :toast:

Yep - a big thanks again to Edna, Bill, Tony & Dave! Thanks to Brent M. for the crisp looking title cards! And a big thanks also to Steve Vieregg and State Representative Rob Witmer for the their efforts to recognize CNP on the floor of the House. All around - the quality of the photography, the generosity of those who donated their time, materials and effort - it was a tremendous event!

We will get to see the comments. Bill is typing them up and will forward them on to me for posting here. Edna is already thinking about next year. There will be a new Governor and new administration, but she is hopefull that we can pull this together as we've done in the past years. For those who don't know, CNP has something of a special 'exemption' from having to purchase insurance for the exhibit. That keeps things very simple. Hopefully we can enjoy the same flexibility next year, but we won't know until the new administration is in place.
Great work everyone!!! :toast:
