Before it get's too late I wanted to announce and invite you to attend an Artist's Reception at the Deer Ridge Vineyards in Livermore on Sunday, April 18th. It's a group show of 5 local photogs and I have 7 prints hanging. Timing couldn't have been better as I was able to pick up my prints from the Four Season's show and pretty much turn them over for another exhibit. Cool.
So for those of you in Nor Cal, if you're out and about, maybe checking out Mt. Diablo or Mines road, feel free to stop by the winery and say hello. Maybe partake in a little Pinot Grigio or Zinfandel... :-)
I really miss not participating much around NPN and here at CANP. I still seem to be consumed with my Dad's circumstances, although I'm happy to say he spent his first day and night by himself after being in some sort of therapy for over two months. He still has was to go for complete recovery, but it's gets a little better every day.
I hope to get my mind back in to photography little by little too.
Sorry Lon, to hear about your pops....but mine is gone but I have him to thank for my little get away place at Aberdeen..I really hope he gets well soon. Congrats on your show and it's close to home too.
I hear you Lon with your Dad's needs all the way around. I was in the almost exact situation last April with my Dad up until he passed away. For me at least it was local and I got to be with him every day.
Good luck all the way around to you and your Dad. It was really great to be able to meet him and spend some time talking when you all were up at Westlake.....take care!
Hey Lon, I'll do my best to stop by... since I'm actually going to be home (bay area home that is) that weekend, by a crazy stroke of chance! I've got a lot of things on my plate, but I'll let you know what the schedule looks like as things organize themselves.
