Any of you down in So. Cal care to let us know if it has been raining down there, and if any wildflowers are starting to show up in the usual places?

Rained on Thrs/Fri a little bit. Not raining now, but supposed to tomorrow.

Wildflowers: NO

Anza Borrego has next to nothing http://www.anzaborrego.statepark.org/wildflowers.html
Poppy Reserve recorded message also says they've basically got nothing.

It has rained and a few things are happening. I'm going to probably do a Kern County tour soon, maybe next weekend. According to my 2003 EXIF info, something should be happening by then.

I have seen nothing except a few scattered "flowers". It's supposed to rain all this week.
