Slogged up Black Mountain for this one and set up camp on top. Sunrise was a bust, but the evenings sunset was one of the best I've ever witnessed. The whole land just seemed to glow.
As always critiques/suggestions greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I would say, brighten up the lower third or crop it off altogether. I'd prefer the former, as it looks like there's some good anchor material down there. But MY-oh-MY! What a fantastic shot!

Nice glow here Jeremy. I've always liked the view of Cowen from Black Mountain. The hike up paid off nicely with the great light. I think a crop off the bottom might help, but you'll have to watch your horizon line placement.
Thanks for the comments. I think I may need to pick up a new calibration system, seems like my monitor must be a bit brighter than others as everyone always seem to think my photos are a little dark. They look fine on this monitor to me and when I bring them up to levels that seem to work for others, they look washed out to me. Either that or my eyes are are just off.....

The light and colors in this are incredible Jeremy! Very nice work!
Great shot, Jeremy! Brightness seems okay to me, but I'm not 100% confident in my calibration either, so take it with a grain of salt. I fit were mine, I'd actually consider cropping from the top. My eyes seem to get stuck in the blue patch at top right, and I'd rather they bounce off the clouds back down to the peaks. I could see a crop from the bottom working too, but I like the terrain down there and wouldn't want to lose the impression of height.

Beautiful shot!! Your hard work paid off in spades.
It's always refreshing to see new places...thank you for that.
Brightness appears to be fine. A bit dark in the lower right, but that's to be expected. I see plenty of detail.
If you have brightness issues with your monitor, the resulting print of this will confirm or deny it right away.
