Wonderful color and texture.

I wonder, for more contrast, could you darken the pool and brighten the foreground rocks and selectively increase their contrast ?

I take that back; I copied your pic and looked at it on Nikon Capture NX2 and there is more color there than on my NPN presentation. I deleted the photo from my archives.

It is amazing the difference between program color projections.

Good eye. Nice shot.

It has that grunge look to it. Are you using some sort of filter to get this effect, or is it all done in photoshop?

this one has a lot of effect applied. mostly HDR and tone mapping.

I figured it was something like that - just does not look too natural. (which is why I had asked about the packrat shot as well - it looks the same) I guess now with CS5 finally getting a very good HDR function it will be easier to grunge-up photos! Looks great on people for that cartoon effect.

Nice shot Drew, nice color.

Hey Larry - what browser do you use? Internet Explorer ignores color profiles whereas Firefox displays sRGB properly. If you use Firefox it should look the same in the browser as it does in Capture NX.
