Here's a 3-shot vertical merge (3 horizontal shots merged to vertical) from my ol' 8-mp Canon EOS Rebel XT back in the summer of 2005. This was taken on a trip with the Jerrymeister along the Colorado Trail in the San Juans, where Cascade Creek drops precipitously into a gorge that separates the Grizzly Peak massif from Engineer Mountain. I merged this a while ago, but after years of owning my Epson R1800, a few days ago I put the roll paper holder on it for the first time and printed out some panos. I guess I'm shocked I had the accidental foresight to take a series of photos for merge purposes way back then. That's one thing this longtime large- and medium-format film shooter learned quickly -- experimenting with digital, even for use years later, was pretty much cost-free!
Speaking of blast....whoaaa!!
That's one of the most beautiful waterfalls I've ever seen and you did an excellent job portraying it. Wish I could see just an inch more on the bottom.

That's a nice take on these falls. Nicely seen! These falls have been on my list of places to visit for years. How long / hard of a hike is it to them? 1/2 mile? or am I way off? There was a Bigfoot sighting not too far from here, so my goal is a shot of Bigfoot next to the falls.

Panoramic digital photography has come along way. Lets put a little pressure on to get
some changes made so that we can do justice to a panorama once in a while. I for one,
would be willing to dig up a little money to pay my way.

Grant: It's a few easy miles in, lots of downhill, which makes the return trip harder than going in. It's probably harder to find the TH than it is to find the falls. E-mail me this summer if you need directions.
ART: Pressure on who? Which changes to what? Pay your way where?
That is a jewel of a waterfall, and so is your shot. I too can't believe you had the foresight or that you remembered you had planned this for a later stitch. Makes me wonder what you have stored for later! And I also have an R1800 and have never put the pano roll feeder on it. Guess I better break that thing out! I tell you TC, this would be hanging on my wall immediately. Great work!

Beautiful scene Todd. I've been in a waterfall viewing mood lately and this hits the spot.
