Hi Guy,
A shot to die for, however for the super nit picker do you have any with the lefthand branch sharp that could be surgically swapped for perfection?
Fabulous photo though, wish it were mine.

Hello and thanks for your comments.
Tim I'm affraid this is the best I could manage as I was not setup for this shot and was working on the Siskins which were to the right of this image. So when this Redpoll landed I would not have been in the best position so I was shoting at an angle to the bird which as made the DOF go of on the left side.

I think the above comments says it all, but its the OOF tail that slightly niggling LOL. Will let you know about feedback on the MKIV as there is, I think, something coming soon, plus will see what Artie has said.

This is a superb shot, such pretty birds. Excellent comp, BG, and perch. I wish this were my image, I really do. Just brilliant!!!!!!

Perfect pose, framing and background. Could be my monitor but I wonder if there might be a bit of a magenta or blue cast looking at the branches? Fantastic image nonetheless!

19 repliesYou've got a good balance with the perch - interesting but not dominating.
