Hi all
As is my want, I've been spending quite a lot of time crawling around my local churchyard in pursuit of the resident blackbirds. They've been great fun to work with and very acceptant of my presence as they go about their business of worm charming, often feeding two foot from my lens (I've tried explaining to them about minimum focus distances but they just don't get it )
Lots more on blog.

Really Nice image, and so well exposed too, the detail in the feathers is great.
its so difficult to take a good picture of these birds, but you have nailed it.
Nice feather detail. They not be taking instruction about mfd, but they are certainly going through their posing routine for you Excellent backgound colour and texture.

Excellent Simon, a common bird we see so rarely photographed as well as this.

A lovely image of a much neglected bird(photography wise).

They are a pain eating all my earthworms then pecking at my apples and pears, but life wouldn't be the same without them. An excellent image.
