I've been spending a bit of time trying to get courting Great Crested Grebes recently.
Unfortunately, whilst there are a pair on the lake I go too, they stay firmly on a private section which is guarded by security and 2 large GSD's (it's a carp lake).
On the public section of the lake, there are 5 males and no females. So whilst there is lots of territorial stuff, there is no courting going on at the moment
However, I was lucky enough to have this little chap scoot past me like a battleship (rather than the usual submarine) though, and it made the time spent waiting for something to happen more than worthwhile.

Lovely point of view, composition and bow wave but it does look a bit light on my screen.

looks like youve been getting down and wet Graham, lovely POV. Good luck with getting the others courting.

The colour of the Grebe pops out from the BG colour really well and adds a great deal to the image, love the POV,really like the 'Bow' wave at the front of the Grebe too, adding a sense of real movement to the image

Very clean shot
Love the feel and the way you have captured this and the Little Grebe looks stunning in the mono setting.
All the good points have been covered Graham and to be honest I can't find any bad one's, cracking LG image.
