Spring Ring Neck
Was going to post a flower shot from this morning but as I was leaving the farm tonight this guy was going across the road. The camera was on the seat and I caught several shots of him. Glad to see he survived the winter, we don't have many in the area.

Olympus E510 Sigma 50-500mm lens @600mm eq f6.3 1/250 ISO 400 small crop.

Looks like it worked out well, the colors in this guy are as beautiful as a wildflower, wonderful image and subject Kendall !!

Great catch, as they always seem skittish(maybe because I usually have a 12ga. instead of a Nikon?)

Nice capture, looks like the same pose as my dad's stuffed pheasant he shot as a kid.

Nice shot! Have not seen any pheasants so far this year in our area.

Nice catch and a good crisp image. There must be a joke in here somewhere.
