Common Gull
This Gull was enjoying the last few rays of warm Winter sun in Norfolk.

Taken about 9.00am.

Hope its the right one.

Hi Stevo - tad big in frame for me and I'm drawn to the unsharp legs too, but the heads nice 'n sharp

Ah, I'm a 'head & chest man' myself Andy  Nice to see you back.

At f/4 well the legs I feel aren't an issue, where the whites were, and just held on without burning out. Not too sure how much smaller you could go in the frame Mr A, WDYT?

For a portrait Steve it works for me. Space is about right IMHO .(I'll get battered by Andy now )LOL

Sorry Mark, should have said 'early' been rather busy with a few things and only just have taken breathe. Should have had Graham proof read it for me.

BTW, still getting over your 'suit'. LOL

Cheers

Hello Stephen.

Size is just fine in the frame for me and you have held the whites perfectly.

Nice porfrait.

No problem with the size here. It does work well as a portrait and that's a lovely background.

Good portrait, nicely coloured background but I think I would prefer it without the lighter top.

Nice to see a Gull without any blue in the background. Great detail and the exposure is spot on :toast:

I would like to see this as a head and shoulders only crop , it would have more impact I feel.
