photograph Red Squirrels at this time of year.
Moulting from the winter to summer coat.Either that or he needs to stock up on moth balls!

It's the tufts on the ears that get me! It looks as thought he was having a real bad hair day. Technically fine, although I would prefer the animal placed a little more to the left.

I agree with David technically fine but a tadge more space right would help the comp.

Off to Formby Point on Friday with our senior citizen conservation group to clear scrub ready for planting (what? I don't know yet until we get there). Hope to catch a glimpse, at least, of a red squirrel. If I manage to get an image half as good as this I will be pleased. Excellent shot.
Points already covered Phil, but would also like more at the foot of the image, just a little tight. BG compliments the 'Red' very well.
BTW is that a wire connecting all the cones?

A tad more room needed on RHS giving the subject room to breath, but saying that I really like the pose you have capture here and the detail is really good
Great pose and colours, nits covered regarding the composition. Some are beginning to look a little tatty now but they will get their brightest red coat soon.

Hi Stephen,no wires.
But some of the cones have been pinned to the fallen trunk.
Your middle name isn't 'Eagle Eyed',is it?
