Showing more respect.......
After my last post, a composite of a duck holding a tulip in her bill, I decided I needed to show more respect to the art form. After that posting, I had 2 guys dressed in black, from Adobe show up at my door, they flashed badges and forced their way in, uninstalling my CS4 and taking my cloning tool as they left.

Taken today, Woodland Tulip show field.
It appears that some tulips are sweating out the short season that they have to be in bloom.

Craig, I would have thought those Adobe Men in Black would have installed CS5 instead, particularly with all the capabilities it promises for creating what's not there...

This is really a nice comp. I like the shallow DOF, and the beads of water. I also like the "off center" center and the leading lines of the flower. Well done.

This is really nice Craig. Like David, I particularly like the "sweat" and the way the light works its way through. Only nit would be that little bit of purple on the left of the frame, it seems to draw my eye from the center but it may be just me. :toast: looks like a great year in the tulips fields so far.

LOL, you're funny.

This is lovely, Craig. The violet color is nice and bold and the dew or rain is a terrific accent capture very well. I think I might crop off the bit of left side where the portion of the other tulip is. I'd like to see a little more of the frame filled with the flower; but I'm ready to say also that that is my tendency/preference, not necessarily a nit.
