The Hood River Valley Blossom Festival is this weekend. If the weather is nice it'll be great. The blossoms here in the lower valley are pretty good, not peak, but good enough.
I'm going to tell you about a spot that's real nice and I've never seen any photos from.
Drive to Hood River and head up to the Coffee Co. (Google it, 1310 Tucker Rd) Before you hit the Coffee Co., just before the first hard right, Good News Gardening is on the right, Your Rental Center is on your left, the hard right is just ahead, take a left onto the road going to the Research and Experimental Station. There is a small sign right there on the left. It will seem like you are turning into a back lot of the Rental Center but don't worry, there is a road there. Follow this road till it pretty much dead ends into the Research center's parking lot. Park the car and walk east. You'll be looking dead east so it won't be a morning shot. You're going to have to get creative with the time of day and light. Check it out though, I'm sure someone creative will get some good shots from there.

I'll have to shelve this for another time, though...
