Moonscape

Shot back in 06 at painted hills in oregon. Just going thorugh old files with cs4. Your comments and critiques are as always appreciated.

I really like the foreground textures. It would be nice if the moon appeared a little bigger, but I think there is something cool about this one.

The colors are great, but I agree with Ryan. I'm not sure how much you can crop, but I think a 2/3rds red dirt, 1/3 sky from a greater distance but a longer focal length would have made this more balanced and made the moon a little bigger. This is closer to 1/4 or 1/5 sky. Do you have any other shots of the same scene? I like the vertical, but sometimes the vertical turns out looking "small" if you know what I mean.
