Very harmonic the colors of the bird and the BG.
Nice perch too.

This is a very good image Phil, the colours throughout the shot are very complimentary and work very well together. A well executed piece of work imo.

Superb! Colours, detail, background and head turn all excellent and the cone is a nice addition - especially with the front foot on it.

Lovely in all respects, although as a relative novice I wonder how saturated the 'market' is with photos like this? My guess is that to stand out increasingly it's necessary to capture unusual behaviour/action?

Good stuff.

Good stuff.
The market may be saturated Ben but its still good to get stuff like this, and no two are ever exactly the same.

Cool shot; attractive perch. If this were mine, I would run it through a noise reduction programme to reduce the noise in the background and use a curves adjustment in Photoshop to give the colours a bit more life without over-saturating them.
