Shipwreck with B&W Repost
I took this on a drive around Conception Harbor today in Newfoundland. the weather has been a bit dreary, but I think it worked out okay in this photography. A bit of a disclaimer as I processed this on an uncalibrated laptop, so it might be a bit dark, etc.

This apparently one of the last whaling ships to be in Newfoundland.

Canon 40D 10-22mm @12mm
ISO 100 f8.0 1/250s -1 EV.

Yep, a tad dark, but it actually kind of fits the dreariness of the scene. It looks like your making good despite the challenging weather. I love the moss on the rocks, it really adds.

I'll re-process it when I get home, but I will probably keep it on the dark side, for some moodiness.

Dark, moody, cool. I'd keep it dark, Ryan, maybe just boost the contrast a bit, but not too much. I really like the lower angle and the leading rocks.

Here is a b&w option of this photo...it's raining hard out there today, so I'm playing around on the laptop. Any thoughts regarding the color or b&w version? I'm keeping it pretty dark, because it just seems to me to be that kind of mood.

I'm always a sucker for a good B&W and this doesn't disappoint at all. Nicely done, Ryan.
