Skylark
Canon EOS 1Ds MKII, 600mm f4 IS, 1.4x conv, f5.6, 1/1250, ISO 400, RAW, RSE, CS2, bean bag on car window ledge.

Hi All,

Getting out and about again, still a bit ring rusty, so not the best shot of a Skylark you ever likely to see, but good to be out seeing things through the view finder again

All comments welcome

Good to see you posting again Rob, the low angle works well and there's plenty of detail throughout the Lark, BG is very complimentary too.

very nice, good light and background, always a tricky bird to get close too

Good shot. The sharpness of the body does make the head appear a little soft though.

Looks a good one to me, I haven't got my electron microscope attached to my monitor today though.

Well captured Rob. They are indeed very difficult to capture. Nit covered. Great detail in the body and lovely background. :toast:
