Hope these come out ok. I like my photos dark, hopefully these don't come across TOO dark; been having trouble with my monitor calibration. I submitted these at 1500/998 res to show the border sharpness. Much better than my 17-35. I shot almost all of my shots at f16 today. This lens really gets after it at f4.

I really like the B&W -- I tend to like dark images as well, so they look great to me. This lens has always made me envious of the Nikon system, hopefully the other guys have noticed and will produce something for the landscape shooter (instead of always spending so much on stuff for the sports and wildlife guys).

The BW one got my vote, very cool!

Wow, the b/w really does it for me. Spectacular image! I love the mood, I love the treatment. I wouldn't like it as much if it were lighter. Very dramatic. Enough words ... I really love this.

That's one lens that seems to ignore the concept of diffraction. Enjoy it.

Another fan of the b&w version. Glad you posted a large version here.
It's right on the verge of being too dark for me, but that darkness really works well here.

B&W, definitely.

Yeah, that B&W is a strong image. The lines, light, shadows, and forms make for a dynamic shot.

Another vote for the B&W. I personally htink B&W works better than color for dark images. Not sure why...personally I think it is because B&W creates more of a mood for me and dark images are usually very moody.

Nice work. The dark treatment of the BW is impactful.
