A couple of weeks ago I submitted this thread and query regarding a loss of sharpness and saturation on some of my posts compared to what the finished processed image looks like in Photoshop. The problem has persisted but this evening after some discussion of the issue with regard to my most recent post in Flora the crux of the problem may be coming to light. I use Firefox as my primary browser because I like the automatic spell check and a few other features vs those available on Internet Explorer. This evening I opened the image in separate windows in PS, IE and Firefox. The most glaring difference was a remarkable enlargement of the image in Firefox. The image is exactly the same size on my screen in PS and IE and the images look practically identical. In Firefox it is like the graphics on a balloon fading with inflation. I'm curious 1. If anyone else has noted this phenomenon and, 2. Is there a way to fix Firefox so it displays my images correctly? Thanks for any insights and suggestions.

Sounds a bit like what happens when I do a "two finger enlargement" (I can't come up with a more decent term for it - you move two fingers away from each other on the trackpad) of a website on my MacBook Pro. This magnifies fonts as well as graphics. I can shrink the page again by using the same "technique" in reverse. There's an option "zoom" in the menu "view" (or something like that - I use Firefox in German). The shortcut for resetting the size of the window is apple-0 (zero), so maybe ctrl-0 will work for you if you're on a PC. Good luck.
Basil: Thanks for the suggestion. I did go to view and hit reset and, voila! the display is at normal size. I never even thought to check that and have no idea how it got messed up in the first place. Much angst over the past few weeks fixed with a click. Thanks again.>=))>

FWIW (and maybe to help others), Firefox does use the PS shortcuts for zooming (Ctrl-plus, Ctrl-minus, Ctrl-0).
