Cape Spear...w/repost b&w version
Yes, I've posted several shots of Cape Spear Lighthouse here, but the rain stopped yesterday...there was also about 5 minutes of sun, of course, I wasn't anywhere to take advantage of it. There was some really thick fog, and since I didn't have a spring photos of the lighthouse, I figured, what the heck, I'll drive out there and check it out.

So, here it is, Cape Spear Lighthouse at dusk, in the fog. The most easterly point in North America.

I like this, Ryan. It has a rainy, moody feel to it. The rocks leading up to the light work well. I think this would look good in B&W too.

I second david's thoughts, I think this would be great in b&w.

A b&w version for your thoughts...

I like the B&W Ryan. It changes the mood, but I prefer it. It feels old, gritty, and I like it.

I like the b/w version, but I think I prefer the first one. There is always something interesting and engaging about a color photograph that is nearly black and white.

The b&w is nice but it doesn't draw you into the photo like the color version does. I prefer the mood of the color. I can really sense being there.

My vote is for the b/w version. I think cropping some of the sky off the top might make the comp a little stronger.
