Hi everyone,
I wonder if anyone can help me with this? Here are the steps I use when Converting for the web.
I open the image
I do my adjustments
Resize for web sharpening
Resize it to 1200 for a 720 file or 2100 for a 1200 file
sharpen the image
resize it to 720 or 1200
Then I convert the image from RGB to SRGB in Edit Menu and save it for web & devices in File menu. then I close the file. 2 things I've notice afterward, 1-when I open the bridge and click on the image I just saved, on the right side column in file properties the color profile tells me its untagged, shouldn't that be SRGB since I converted it.
2- When I reopen the image in PSSC4 the missing profile window comes up telling the image does not have an embedded profile ,even though I already converted it to SRGB earlier, So now I have to choose a profile again. I had the same problem in PS7. Is there someting I forgot to do or forgot in the settings? Thank you for your time
There's an option to include the profile tag with the image when saving it - make sure that box is checked. Otherwise it will be in sRGB, but untagged, so color managed applications (including some browsers) won't be entirely sure what to do with it.
