UPDATE: All items have been spoken for. Thanks for quick responses, everyone!
Long time no post. Three small kids does that to you.
I'm finally throwing in the towel for my art show side of the business. With my youngest at 8 months and my oldest at 5, my art show days are behind me for a long, long time. Young family + art shows = too hard to manage anymore.
So, that means if you're interested in getting into art shows, my loss is your gain! I have the setup to help you get started in the circuit for less than it would cost to get the "pro setup" yourself from scratch.
My preference is to sell it all to someone, but I'll consider piecemeal offers. Everything I have here was used from 2004-2008 seasons, at most 20 shows in those years. So lots of life in everything here!
Here's what I have on the auction block:
1. 13 Charcoal Grey ProPanels, with 2 Banner Bars and 2 Stabilizer Bars, and a full set of panel stiffeners for a complete 10x10 booth setup (I did a "W" configuration, but many others are possible). Panels are single-section, 30" wide, 7' tall, each. All in good condition. Has 7 straight stiffeners, 3 "L" stiffeners, 1 "T" stiffener, and ~10 hanger sets to put up a large number of heavy pictures in a booth. I'll throw in my curtain pins too.
Retail value of this new: $1711 (plus an enormous freight charge!)
My sale price: $1200 (this is a GOOD deal for these kind of panels!)
2. 1 Flourish Canopy Trimline 10'x10' tent (the good kind, not a cheap EZ-Up), roof with skylight, all bars and supports, bottom Stabilizer bars, front awning, 4 zipper walls, plus an extra 3-zipper-panel door, and 4 zipper extenders (makes it easier to put up decent size weights on the corners). Includes carrying bags.
Retail value new: $1235 (plus another big freight charge)
My sale price: $999
3. 4x60lb weights made from PVC pipe and cement, with straps to attach. They each have a eyebolt in the top which hooks into a motorcycle strap for attaching to the tent. Put these on #2 above and you've got something that will withstand 90% of storms in Colorado.
I paid $50 for materials to build them, plus $20 for straps
My sale price: $40 for all 4
4. 1 Director-style Chair (most comfortable at shows), Black seat and back. Still in great condition.
Retail price new: $119
My sale price: $80
5. 3 Acrylic Matted picture holding boxes: 2 fits 11x14 (finished size) matted pics (8x10 matted), and the other fits 16x20 (finished size) matted pics (11x14 matted). All have scratches, but minor wear at best. Will only sell as set.
Retail price new: $120
My sale price: $75
6. 1 Rolling Dolly from Costco. Converts to a flat cart (has 4 wheels total), which makes transporting your gear super easy on-site.
Retail price new: $75
My sale price: $35
7. 2 sets of track lighting (halogen), with 8 halogen spots (75W each), including bulbs and spares. Great for when you have electricity at outdoor shows or want to light your work in indoor environments.
Retail price new: $100 for both
My sale price: $50
Because of the weight/size of most items, you'll need to come to my house to get them. I live in Lakewood, CO.
