This image is from my trip last week
to the Antelope Valley. The flowers
were as good as I've ever seen them
there. I'm wondering if I should tone
down or de-saturate the blue in the blue
flowers. Your comments are welcome. Thank
you.
No don't tone it down, in fact the poppies look to dark. I would pull them up with a curve layer to give them a little more pop. You know poppies should be captured with +1 on the exposure. So if you captured this in RAW, process it again with +1 on the exposure.

Thank you, Youssef and Rodney. I didn't realize that poppies should be
exposed at +1. I"ve tried to lighten them with a repost here. If you have
time, please tell me if you think that it's an improvement.
Second image has the light intensity dialed in better, but the first was ok matter of personal taste. Steve the little blue flowers are pygmy lupine, Sunday I saw a lot of them going to seed with their little pea pod shaped seeds . Are the yellow poppies a color variation? I didn't see any where I was.
I think that yellow contrast really makes this image.

The yellow Poppies were really there, Pual--no post processing to create them.
Thank you for the compliments.
