Every time I drive by The Crags on HWY 14 they always has ominous clouds looming and it just has an evil look to it, like teeth tearing into the sky.
When I took the shot I thought it would be a good b&w image but when I got home and was processing it I really like the color that the sun is putting on the Crags.

Beautiful Image. I'm liking the color slightly more although they are both fantastic. Great work.

I think with a little more contrast the B&W would rock! I think I like it better than the color image. I was in for a webinar for Nik Silver Effects Pro today and I think this would be a prime candidate.

Here's another vote for the B&W version, and with a bit more contrast. Also, I don't think the right side of the image does anything for the overall composition. You might try experimenting with a crop that leaves that out.

The color one is outstanding. I like the light on the crags and the mono quality of the trees on the lower left.
I prefer the colour version, like you mentioned the slight kiss of light and colour on the crags is very nice. Very nice comp., and equally nice with the sprinkling of snow.
