Greetings all, I am looking for a little bit of help out of my fellow Colorado photogs. I have approached by a stock agency that found me through my deviantArt page by the name of ImageBase http://www.imagebase.co.za/default.asp Mostly they are after me it seems for my hotrod photography. They are based in South Africa and it is royalty free, however I retain ALL rights and © of my work. They are currently offering me a 60% percentage on the sale of my work which is negotiable if I have a large collection of shots. I have nevr done stock before and I am pretty cautious being the former illustrator I am, coming from a field where stock is a bad word. Is there anything I should be on the lookout for? I have a copy of their 'info pack' which outlines all rights and so forth...it's in pdf...though I could copy all the text if anyone wants to take a look at it. I would seriously appreciate any feedback y'all can offer me. Thanks!

It's not all about stock and RF photography, but there's a fairly lengthy discussion here on the NPN Photo Marketing forum. In it's breadth, the discussion should give you some perspective on several of the questions you raise.
