This has been a great spring for wildflowers
in Southern California. I got this image about
two weeks ago near Arvin. Perhaps I should crop
at the top and left in order to reduce the large
darkened area that takes up a great deal of the
image without adding much to it. As always, I
welcome your comments/critiques.
The back and forth meandering view works nicely on this one, Robert. It truly has been a great spring season throughout the state. Not sure about the crop you suggest, you might give it a try and see how "you" like it.
Like the 3 species you got in this image. Lupine, Owl's clover and Poppies. I'm on the fence on the crop, I like the contours line flow. I'd be tempted to open the shadow a tad and bump the contrast.

Paul, thanks for the compliments and the suggestions. I'm reposting
here in accord with your suggestions concerning "open the shadow a

anyone else may jump in too with a comment/criticism.
I like this better Robert, the Lupines just pop off the screen. You really have a wave like flow in this image. One can tell from your posts that you have a deep appreciation for our wild flora. This spring I have learned to appreciate as well.
