Hope you don't mind this intrusion from a California boy...
Maybe I'm missing something, but where the heck did your Photoshop Tips and Tricks page go? Specifically Marc's sharpening technique and other tips. I often reference that page for folks in the ES&S gallery and today I couldn't find it. Looks like the links page has been re-done.
Anyway, is there a new location I'm just not seeing or has it been moved or removed?
Thanks!
Lon

Can anyone help Lon out... he's one of the good guys
Since the tips have been up for many years, we felt it was time to change things up a bit so we pulled them.

I guess i dont understand part of your response Jack Graham. but does it matter if one is good to receive good, or to show one who is evil (bad), good? You may gain a new friend to show the bad (evil) good. And that will profit you more.
But i am surprised that page was pulled, were they taking up 'space' that was needed for something else? New people join this forum all the time dont they? Wouldnt that page help out the new photographers as that page did me? Just curious. As Lon was.

From another Californian, I'm sure going to miss Photoshop Tips and Tricks Page, I took a look in that often, was very informative.

Sorry for the confusion this caused. We took it down for a number of reasons...including the fact that many of the tips were no longer valid due to photoshop upgrades, etc...The last update to that tips page was around 3 years ago and technology has advanced quite a bit since then.
There are so many tips available on the Internet that it seems redundant. The links page provides access to many of those other tips sites, and we'd be more than willing to add new links to that page; all you have to do is email them to me.

The sharpening page is still totally relevant, actually, USM hasn't changed.
I have the Sharpening articles saved if anyone wants them, just PM me.

Thanks folks - hope I didn't stir things up too much.
Yeah, there's soooo much info on the web that it may be redundant. And while I have no skin in this comment, some times it's nice to refer people to content within our own forums or NPN. but no biggie.
Paul - you may have saved the articles, but of course I would need permission if I was, say, to post them on the CA forum. I know Preston is looking for "tips and tricks" content. Probably inspired by the pages you guys used to have.
Not something I'm losing sleep over guys. Hope all is well up north.
