Lovely. Chocolate lilies have always been among my favorites.

Nice picture. I thought it was unusual to find a chocolate lily on the west-side of the Cascades, but it seems that the west-side mission bell (fritillaria affinis) and the east-side chocolate drop (fritillaria atropurpurea) are both called chocolate lily. I associate the chocolate lily with the Mosier-Dalles area of the Gorge where it looks like both may be present (http://www.oregonflora.org/gallery.php). Which Cooper Mtn trail were you on? (BTW, the light outline to the left (greenish cast) and to the right (purplish cast) on the stem and in focus leaf looks to me like there might be a bit of fixable chromatic aberration, but that might just be my monitor.)

Great arrangement Wade, and I like the variable focus.
