Irises Point Lobos
Point Lobos is not one of California's wildflower hot spots, but the Irises and paintbrush did add some nice splashes of color in the park.

A 400mm lens and extension tube can help at Pt. Lobos where you must stay on the trails.

Very nice indeed Paul! The composition in the first image is exceptional. The colors all look great as well. I really like the longer exposures effect on the water. Funny, but I don't know if I have ever really shot flowers there before.

The second one makes me look forward to finally getting a macro lens for morew closeups such as this. You just so happened to do it with a 400mm.
