Spring Foliage
This is a shot taken from a tower at Hoffman Hills Recreation Area near my home. I’m one of those photographers who think that the spring colors are actually more beautiful than the fall colors. This year they have been outstanding.

Comments are welcome.

I like this one a lot, Phil. The beauty of spring is on full display here, and you've done a wonderful job of showcasing it! I agree, it has been an especially beautiful spring here in the MW...just waiting for the migrating songbirds to show up to make the scene complete.

Very nice shot Phil. It is interesting the similarities and differences between the spring and autumn color schemes and the transitions.

I've been noticing more and more this year that the Spring colors closely resemble the ones we see in Fall..reds, yellows, greens. Then, throwing in the flowering trees for good measure, you can see the intense rivalry between the two seasons!

Good eye, Phil!
