Petty Harbour, Newfoundland w/repost
We finally had half a day without cloud cover. I drove out to Petty Harbour south of St. John's to catch the sunrise. I wish there would have been a few more clouds.

One of the dozens of fishing ports around the Island Coast. Monday might have another sunny morning, so I'll be heading to another area for sunrise with my fingers crossed.

I'll be Newfoundland through Monday and then it's back to Oregon. It's been a nice visit, but I'm excited to get home and my own stomping grounds.

Very nice, Ryan. I like the colors and the combination linear and curved lead in. Did you consider opening up the foreground shadows a little? It might ruin the mood, but it would be interesting to see.

Thanks for your thoughts. I'm processing this on an uncalibrated monitor, so it's probably appearing a little darker than it should be. I suppose I shouldn't be posting them if I'm just going to re-process them when I get home, but when the weather is bad here I've got to do something with my time. I didn't lighten the foreground up some, but I might not be coming across so well.

This does look like one that will need a rework once home, I'll look forward to the update.

Yeah, I suppose I'd be better off not posting anything until after I get on my home computer (or I should have calibrated this laptop before we left), but I've had some pretty boring days with pouring down rain, so I felt compelled to put up something. This is the last one until I get home though.

A little reprocessing now that I'm back home. I think a little better and more natural to the scene.
