GC Grebe Take #2
20D, 400/2.8 + 2x, ISO200 1/200 @ f11 EV -1/3, Gitzo + BH1, C1pro + CS2.

Hi still going through my Grebe files from the weekend and was quite pleased with this one, taken in portrait format, covering all bases for composition and reproduction.

All the best

Beautiful shot, Phil. The bird is great in itself, but the texture and colour of the water complement it so well. Lovely!

Hi Phil

Another excellent image, I prefer it to your previous GC Grebe shot. Good exposure and post processing as the grebe's colours stand out well against the background colour.

I might crop a bit from the bottom to decentralise the bird slightly, but otherwise this is spot on.

cheers

Sean

Hi Phil,

Like it. Must go after the Grebes myself soon. After all this is Grebe country.
