I was in Port de Pollensa in Majorca
last September, some one told be of a small colony of audouin's gulls
on a small island just of the beach at Port de Pollensa in Majorca. I
went down to the beach in the afternoon to find it full of semi naked
ladies I was carrying my 300mm lens and decided to make a hasty retreat
before the police came to arrest me.
I returned the following morning early, the light was quite dull but I
managed to get some pictures without getting arrested. This is one of
them

Great capture. Glad you were able to escape with your lens intact to return the next day.

well caught Ron I think it would look good with a tad off the top and more room on the bottom for him to fly into if you have it
The blacks of the Gull are quite striking set against the almost monochrome colouring both of the Gull & background, however the composition & position within the frame doesn't work for me.

Like the pose on this one Ron, it's a great wing position.
