Corn Bunting
Hi to all,

Corn Bunting, this is a first for me as I've never photographed this species before. But the thing I will remember most about this bird is the wonderful noise it made; what a fantastic song they have.

A big thanks goes to my mate and fellow UKNP member Steve Race for the loan of his 500mm and 40D, like a pudding I only had the 300mm with me today and without Steve's help I wouldn't have bagged this shot.

Processed in DPP / CS2 ( Slight crop )

40D, 500F4IS+1.4T/c, Gitzo, Wimberley
1/500th @ F5.6 iso400

All comments welcome and thanks for looking.

Cracking shot, saw a pair at Bempton on saturday, and have a shot but no where near as good as this one, as you say terrific song very distinctive.

Cracker! Had the pleasure of photographing these before, their song and also their dangling legs in flight are great.

Great stuff!
