Ridgefield Owl
I came across this Great Horned Owl and an owlet that I'm guessing was 6-8 weeks old, at the Ridgefield WA NWR. The ideal capture would have been both in the same frame, but the owlet was lower, to right and obscured by several branches. This view of the adult wss fairly clear, I did clone out 3 small branches in front of the belly and right wing side. Craig, nice find. I love Owls and they are so photogenic. It looks like the wind was blowing pretty good hence the movement in the ear tufts?. Well done.

If this is mother owl, she looks beat! Her eyes just seem to say to me, "Oh, lordy, give me rest!"

Beautiful shot Craig. You're killin' me with all the goodness coming out of Ridgefield by way of you and your camera. :wavey:
