Morels
With 2+ inches of rain Sat night it was too wet yesterday to do anything in garden so I snuck off to the woods to shoot some Bluebells that I saw on Sat morning. I was fixing fence then and didn't have camera along. The rain had spoiled the Bluebells however found some other things to shoot and some Morels. Found several and shot various angles. I like this one best. Was a great afternoon to be out, damp fog and misty day. Only half mile from van I realised I had left the remote release behind.
Olympus E 510 70-300mm lens at 250mm eq F11 1/6 ISO 200 cropped just a bit to remove wasted space in upper right corner.

Nice find! Did this one end up in a frying pan?

:(, I found several of these delicacies growing for the first time in ourr yard last year. So far, no sign. Hoping that should we get a good dousing, that maybe they will make an appearance. Thanks for the reminder of what I am missing. So, like Brian inquired? And they go good with a :toast:
