Driving into work today I stopped off and grabbed a few snapshots at a pond I pass along the way. I saw several others had the same idea as the morning passed. Cars would stop, a person would step out and get a quick image before leaving. Despite the sun being up for less than an hour the snow was quickly retreating back up the foothills. And even though the sunlight was getting a bit harsh, why not stop and enjoy the morning. Smell the few flowers that were there along the shoreline. Hope everyone enjoys.

Beautiful Scene! looks a little noisy or something in the sky, might want to check it out. Nice work.

I like your commute route. Must be tough getting to work on time.

Pretty, Steve. Clash of seasons is right.

Wow, I guess some of us had problems sleeping last night. Thanks for the comments so far.

Jeremy - I walked back through the web image generation steps and found that it is pixelation of a thin cloud layer/haze that you are commenting about. The trees and flatirons are much better in the original.

Bill - Come to think of it, I was a little late arriving at work. But I had been watching and waiting for this event. So when the snow fell and the sky was clearing I grabbed my bag and was out the door a bit earlier then normal.

A quintessential "Springtime in the Rockies" shot. Great spring greens overlayed by snow!

As everyone said, you caught 2 seasons in one very nicely!. The clouds past 2 days have been nice, also nice to see the sun again :).
