I have a solo show opening at the Herzog Winery in Oxnard on May 3. The reception will be Wed., May 12 at 7pm. If you are in the neighborhood, stop by the reception!
See the last item on the event calendar. You can also get directions at the winery website.
p.s. If you want to visit the winery, it is a kosher winery, so they are closed Friday night and all day Saturday for the Sabbath. Sunday is the weekend day for tastings. The restaurant in the winery is supposed to be outstanding.
Oye vey indeed! I have not sampled the wines yet, but they are supposed to be pretty dang good. From what I have read, they just need a rabbi supervising production. Otherwise, the wines are no different than any other. They get their grapes from select vineyards in SB and SLO counties. Not the terrible kosher wine consumed during the holidays of youth.
You may have to order the guilt in the restaurant. I don't think you can get it in the tasting room.

This is great Harley, I'm going to try and make it since it's pretty darn close to home.

Congratulations, Harley. If I'm in the area at that time,
I'll certainly make an effort to try to see the show.

I will definitely check out your show. Congratulations.
As an aside, the restaurant is in my and many others' opinions, one of the top 5 in all of California.
Seriously. You won't believe the food.
And yes, it's located in a Kosher winery, located in an industrial park in Oxnard (easy access off the freeway). WARNING - they are only open for lunch on Friday, and closed all day Saturday. Go for brunch or dinner on Sunday.

Congrats Harley and best of luck with the show - especially in the sales department.
I'm conducting my own scientific experiment about wine tasting, wine consumption and photographic art sales.... Haven't come to any conclusions yet, but I'm hoping that an increase in wine consumption correlates to an increase in gallery sales. I'll let you know if I'm right.
Congratulations. I checked out the winery's web page. The events and restaurant menu look very cool. I will stop by next week. Thanks for the news and good luck!

But really, great news Harley. Good luck with sales.
